Purpose
Walkarounds combine side decks for moving fore and aft with a small cabin or cuddy — a coastal fishing layout with some weather protection. Common on the Northeast and Pacific Northwest. Not a center console, not a full pilothouse.
Best suited for
- Coastal and nearshore fishing
- Salmon, halibut, groundfish, and inshore species
- 2–4 anglers who want cabin shelter on fishing runs
- Intermediate to experienced coastal boaters
